Amy joined Wendy Blacker Lawyers in June 2017, bringing with her 17 years of experience predominantly gained in insurance litigation in large CBD firms. Amy’s experience is broad and includes professional indemnity, product liability, property damage, environmental and energy claims and mining and construction claims. However, her passion is for personal injury matters, particularly those arising from medical negligence and historical physical and sexual abuse.
Amy has a solid knowledge of procedural requirements of courts and tribunals, having been exposed to litigated claims throughout her career. She plays a vital role in the legal process, supporting the lawyers with whom she works, particularly in information gathering, research and preparing briefs for experts and counsel.
She is an important point of contact for clients, ensuring that she is readily available to respond to enquiries.
Amy has oversight of the timeliness of the progress of matters to ensure that legal disputes are continually progressed towards resolution. She is committed to continuous process improvement and employs measurement tools that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Amy is responsible for the production of various client, insurer and government monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
